Sassi da La Vezzi

Mixed Media: Oil and stones on canvas 1.5 M x 1 M This painting is part of my "Sassi Series": Paintings of Rocks and Stones. In this one I have used real stones that I brought back from the small island of 'La Vezzi'. La Vezzi is actually a conglomerate of rock formations that protrudes exactly between Sardinia and Corsica. Here there is a Church, a Mosque, a cemetery, and many, many stones.
