La Primavera ( Spring time ) is a time of rejuvenation. Our senses experience a sort of
awakening just by stepping outside and breathing in the air around us. The visual perspective
is immediately stimulated by nature's vibrant hues and steadfast growth cycle. We leave behind
the reclusive nest that bound us through the harsh winter and rejoin the rhythm of the urban
momentum outside our door.
While further expressing the theme of Adaptation and my experience as a 'straniera' (foreigner)
living in Italy, my paintings depict a vigilant narrative between the abstraction of both
landscape and figurative forms. Themes such as detachment, departure, Travel blur, the
Internet and Cyber-Space,new anthropology, subculture, "species consciousness", and the living
universe are being interwoven into my visual storytelling. Please check out the
