Sketch Book
L'inizio
Captured in many sketchbooks are the first gestures translated from daily imagery. They are the simplest form of my original vision, and at times I prefer them to their grander painted compositions. Most importantly is the learning process from start to finish. It's a dissection of matter that may or may not exist in the real world. With a 3B pencil or ball point pen there is a birth, and the study evolves as the stages of life do. Eventually, everything has an end, but there's a magic in the illustrative and painted mementos left behind.
