Chelsea Owens' Adaptation, tells the grand tale of her passage from coast to coast on a trans-continental journey, living dual lives between Southern California and Northern Italy.  This series of works is a surrealistic impression of the relationship between a woman and the world in which she lives.  Each composition presents a staged scene and an open curtain to the character's journey: adaptation, reflection, and subsequent evolution.
